Important Spring 2026 Season Dates

TCIHL Annual Meeting

The meeting was held on Jan. 21st. TCIHL is still  looking for nominations for the Board before the spring season begins. We are in need of dedicated individuals to help carry the league forward and continue its mission.

FREE pre-season PLAYER CLINICS (Everyone welcome)

• Saturdays, Jan. 31, Feb. 7 & 14(9am - noon)
  • 9:00am to 10:00am: One-on-One instruction for Mites (8 and under) & Squirts (10 and under) by Coaches and Youth Mentors. Beginners of any age are welcome.
  • 10:00am to 11:00am: Skating lessons and fun games for Mites (8 and under) & Squirts (10 and under).
  • 11:00am - 12:00pm: Peewees (12 and under) & Bantams (18 and under) - a couple of fun drills and scrimmage

    • Full gear available to borrow during the clinics

    • Bring water & snacks

    • Limited gear for sale

Player Assessments

• Tues., Feb. 17^th - PWs 6-7:15pm, Bantams 7:30-8:30pm
• Sat., Feb. 21^st - Mites 9-10:15am & Squirts 10:30am-Noon
• Mon., Feb. 23rd - 6pm -  Assessment makeup time for all divisions
  

SPRING SEASON PRACTICES & GAMES

• Thursday, Mar. 5^th – First Bantam Practice.

• Week of Mar. 9^th– First Bantam games & practices begin all divisions

  • Mites (8U) (Practices 5:30-6:30 pm, M or Th)
  • Squirts - (10U) (Practices 6:30-7:30 pm, M, T, Th)
  • Peewees - (12U) (Practices 7:30-8:30 pm, M, T, Th)
  • Bantams - (13+) (Practices 8:30-9:30 pm, M or Th)

• Tuesday, Mar. 10^th  - OPENING DAY for Bantams

• Saturday, Mar. 14th - OPENING DAY for Mites, Squirts, PWs

• Saturday, Apr. 4^th – No games due to Easter (Practices will be held the week prior)

• Tuesday, May 19th – Bantam Play-offs & Senior Recognition night

• Saturday, May 23^rd - No games due to Memorial Day (Practices will be held the week prior)

• Tuesday, May 26th  - Bantam Championship Game

• Saturday, Jun. 6^th - Playoffs (Mites, Squirts, PWs)

• Sunday, Jun. 7^th - Championship Sunday (Mites, squirts, PW's)

Game Prep (Important!)

• Bring extra water especially if the weather is warm
• Players should always wear light clothing under their gear
• Sticks where the blade measures less than 1.75" are not allowed to be used for games
• HOME team to provide one volunteer to help at the score booth
• Goaltenders to arrive 30 min. before game time to get ready for warm-ups, everyone else arrive at least 20 min. (parking can be an issue)

TCIHL Required Gear

• In-line Hockey Skates
• Shin Guards
• Protective Hockey Girdle (+ cup for boys)
• Elbow Pads
• Hockey Gloves
• Hockey Pants (not enforced 1st week)
• Helmet
• Stick (ABS blade is best)
• Shoulder Pads (optional, but highly recommended)
